FITNESS FOR MEN
Using equipment and their own body weight, men will focus on core stability, flexibility/stretching, balance, and functional exercise.
FITNESS FOR WOMEN
Using equipment and their own body weight, ladies learn how to use free weights, abdominal work, and the benefits of stretching for a total body workout. This is a mid-range class that helps condition the major muscle groups.
BODY BLAST
This class is definitely a workout. Two-minute intervals of cardio, strength training and core conditioning will make this full hour go by fast. This combination of exercise allows you to elevate your heart rate and keep those muscles and core strong.
BODY SCULPTING
Keeping your body strong requires strength training. We use dumbbells, bands, tubes and our own body weight to sculpt our muscles and keep ourselves strong and fit.
CIRCUIT TRAINING
By using our CYBEX pin-loaded machines and a mixture of movements in the weight room, you’ll get a great cardiovascular/strength training workout that is fun, fast-paced and challenging.
HIIT
High intensity interval training (HIIT) is a low impact strength and fat burning class. Great for all fitness levels, you choose your weights, your physical endurance level, and a modification for each exercise.
POWER BLAST
Get your early morning power on! Monday mornings at 5:30 you can expect all aspects of fitness to be covered - strength, cardiovascular, and core - using a variety of different exercises and formats. Come ready for some fun!
MORNING STRETCH
A full hour of deep stretching will start your morning off right. Flexibility is an important component of fitness, and this class will help you achieve greater flexibility.
STEP AEROBICS
Aerobic movement using a step bench. Each class contains a warm-up, step aerobics, strength training, abdominal conditioning, and stretching. Modifications can be made for all levels.
PiYo
Inspired by Pilates and Yoga cranks up the pace, and the fun, for a pulse-pounding, calorie burning workout that defines and strengthens every inch of your body. Low impact but high intensity. No weights, usually done barefoot. Hardcore results.
INSANITY
Max interval training has you work as hard as you can for 3-minutes intervals, with 30-second periods of rest in between. According to the Insanity web site, exercising at this extreme intensity level will help you burn up to 1,000 calories an hour.
INSTRUCTOR'S CHOICE
This can be Step Aerobics, Zumba, Cardio Blast, or any other class the instructor chooses! The instructor and class for the week is posted on the whiteboard in the hallway.
PILATES BLAST (with Brandy)
